So Much For The Open Government And Working Together
A lie is a lie no matter how you look at it. President Obama during his campaign promised open government and working together but what we are getting is closed door secret meetings in the congress and senate not to mention the White house. This lousy health care crap is going to be shoved down the throats of the American people. The true beneficiaries of this health care plan is insurance providers and health care providers not the American people. Did you wonder why the senate pushed this crap agenda in the wee hours of Christmas or why they had to buy senate votes like Senator Jon Tester of Montana? It is all about a socialist agenda beginning with Obama himself and the horse crap leadership in the House and Senate (Pelosi and Reed) Two of the most Communist thinking representatives I have ever heard speak! Then there is the meeting with Reed and Senator Dick Durbin of Illinois (Turncoat Durbin) who are effectively cutting out any conservatives from any compromise on health care. Who in Illinois voted for Durbin anyway? Not me! Once again the Obama administration has succeeded in pushing its Socialist, Communist agenda right under the eyes of the American people. It has become my firm belief that this country has lost its mind.
Right to Work Sues Obama Administration for Its Secrecy
Recently in the Washington Examiner, National Right to Work Foundation president Mark Mix discussed the Foundation’s Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) attack against the shadowy Obama administration, which is refusing to let the American people know more about the close connections between Department of Labor officials and Big Labor operatives.
As Mix explained, the Obama Administration has stonewalled on numerous disclosure demands, despite its promises of a new era of transparency.
After months of waiting for a response from the Department of Labor, Right to Work Foundation lawyers filed a federal lawsuit in U.S. District Court to force the Obama administration to fulfill its obligations under the Freedom of Information Act. Hopefully, this complaint will spur the Department of Labor toward greater disclosure.
The public at least deserves to know the extent to which union operatives are rewriting laws and regulations put in place to ensure minimal standards of union transparency and accountability.

What Is Inner Beauty?
Inner beauty is the most important feature in our human being. All of our actions in a day draw from that inner beauty or soul, if you wish. Have you ever wondered what makes you act the way you do or who you are, inside? Are we are just a collection of cells that happened to come together by chance or is there some grand design someone we can’t see or touch that brought us all together? Inner beauty shows itself in many ways perhaps by helping an elderly neighbor with their yard work or volunteering your time to your community.
Love is an expression of inner beauty. Does one give love on a daily basis? Does one feel Loved on a daily basis? Hope is a belief in a positive outcome related to events and circumstances in one’s life and the lives of others. This can only come from a place of inner beauty. Do you feel compassion toward another human being when you see them in pain or suffering? Compassion comes from inner beauty, at times you can feel it tug at your heart, sometimes you can ignore it but deep down it’s always there.
What about outer beauty? Can outer beauty, say a beautiful waterfall, a majestic mountain or the brilliant stars in heaven, be enjoyed without inner beauty? I think not. A person can be attracted by outward beauty only to find on closer examination that it is ugly on the inside. A beautiful looking person can be filled with hatred or with love. But how do we know unless we look on the inside? We often judge people when we first meet them by the way they look. It has always been said; you cannot judge a book by its cover. So look inside when you first meet people and look for that inner beauty, in the long run it is far more important than outward beauty.
What can physical things in life do for the soul? The answer is “nothing”. You need to fill the soul otherwise it starves. Is your inner soul starving? You can satisfy the hunger with acts of kindness and love, there is plenty in this world to fill the soul. Use it every day and I believe you will be full in no time. After 9/11 I felt love and compassion for all of my fellow Americans, I remember sitting at a toll booth waiting for the person in front of me, fumbling to find the correct change. Any other time I would have been a bit angry at the wait but this time I would have waited all day without anger. I believe it was because we were all one during that time, one country, one people. Why can’t it be like that every day as we work, play and live?
I don’t have all the answers nor do I proclaim to be fault free but I do know the feelings of my own heart. I am sure that each one of us has thought some of these very things at some point in our lives. I don’t want to be on my death bed saying, “I did it all wrong”; there are no do overs. Your inner beauty can flourish and grow, no one can quell it and no one can take it away.
I don’t know about you but I am going to look for the inner beauty in all that I meet.

Buchanan To Obama

By Patrick J. Buchanan
Barack says we need to have a conversation about race in America .. Fair enough. But this time, it has to be a two-way conversation.. White America needs to be heard from, not just lectured to… This time, the Silent Majority needs to have its convictions, grievances and demands heard. And among them are these:
First, America has been the best country on earth for black folks. It was here that 600,000 black people, brought from Africa in slave ships, grew into a community of 40 million, were introduced to Christian salvation, and reached the greatest levels of freedom and prosperity blacks have ever known. Wright ought to go down on his knees and thank God he is an American.
Second, no people anywhere has done more to lift up blacks than white Americans. Untold trillions have been spent since the ‘ 60s on welfare, food stamps, rent supplements, Section 8 housing, Pell grants, student loans, legal services, Medicaid, Earned Income Tax and poverty programs designed to bring the African-American community into the mainstream. Governments, businesses and colleges have engaged in discrimination against white folks — with affirmative action, contract set-asides and quotas — to advance black applicants over white applicants. Churches, foundations, civic groups, schools and individuals all over America have donated their time and money to support soup kitchens, adult education, day care, retirement and nursing homes for blacks.
We hear the grievances.
Where is the gratitude??
Barack talks about new ‘ladders of opportunity’ for blacks. Let him go to Altoona? And Johnstown, and ask the white kids in Catholic schools how many were visited lately by Ivy League recruiters handing out scholarships for ‘deserving’ white kids.? Is white America really responsible for the fact that the crime and incarceration rates for African-Americans are seven times those of white America? Is it really white America’s fault that illegitimacy in the African-American community has hit 70 percent and the black dropout rate from high schools in some cities has reached 50 percent?
Is that the fault of white America or, first and foremost, a failure of the black community itself?
As for racism, its ugliest manifestation is in interracial crime, and especially interracial crimes of violence. Is Barack Obama aware that while white criminals choose black victims 3 percent of the time, black criminals choose white victims 45 percent of the time?
Is Barack aware that black-on-white rapes are 100 times more common than the reverse, that black-on-white robberies were 139 times as common in the first three years of this decade as the reverse?
We have all heard ad nauseam from the Rev. Al about Tawana Brawley, the Duke rape case and Jena. And all turned out to be hoaxes. But about the epidemic of black assaults on whites that are real, we hear nothing.
Sorry, Barack, some of us have heard it all before, about 40 years and 40 trillion tax dollars ago.
OBAMACARE PUTS YOU ON WELFARE
Lost in all of last weeks headlines on how the Senate Finance Committee (SFC) finally delivered a health care product that the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) was willing to say would reduce the deficit, was how exactly they achieved it, says the Heritage Foundation.
For example:
At a price tag of $829 billion, the SFC “framework” will reduce the number of uninsured Americans by 29 million, moving the overall percentage of nonelderly Americans with health insurance from 83 percent in 2010 to 94 percent in 2019.
But of those 29 million with new insurance coverage, almost half (14 million), will get their coverage through the welfare programs Medicaid and the State Children’s Health Insurance Program (SCHIP); that is equivalent to adding every resident of Ohio and Nevada to the welfare rolls.
In other words, for half of those Americans who are being promised health reform, they are going to be stunned to find themselves in a welfare office applying for Medicaid, says Heritage:
Under the current baselines for Medicaid and the State Children’s Health Insurance Program (SCHIP), there will be 76 million individuals served by these programs for at least some part of the year in 2019.
If the SFC proposal becomes law, the number on Medicaid/SCHIP will top 90 million.
So why do ObamaCare supporters want to put 90 million Americans on the welfare rolls? It is cheaper than providing them with real quality health care, explains Heritage.
Even those who are not pushed into welfare will feel the strain on the health care system, says Heritage. The majority of individuals moved into Medicaid will be young and healthy. Keeping them on welfare rolls will shift even more costs to individuals and families buying private health insurance, as doctors and hospitals recoup their losses from Medicare/SCHIP by charging more to the privately insured. In effect, the congressional policy seems to be to expand dependency by discriminating against individuals based on their income.
In June, President Obama told Senate Democrats, “As we move forward on health care reform, it is not sufficient for us simply to add more people to Medicare or Medicaid.” Unfortunately, that is precisely what Congress is going to do with the Baucus proposal, says Heritage.

ANOTHER INSURER’S REPORT WARNS ABOUT COST OF SENATE HEALTH BILL
Insurance companies have another made-to-order report saying that the Senate Finance Committee’s health bill would drive up health cost, says the Wall Street Journal. The logic is pretty simple: If lots of sick people sign up for insurance, while many healthy people take their chances on going uncovered, the price tag on a health-insurance policy is going to rise sharply.
That was the scenario outlined in a report by PricewaterhouseCoopers released Monday by America’s Health Insurance Plans, the leading industry trade group. Now the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association is hawking its own report by Oliver Wyman, a consulting firm that is part of Marsh & McLennan Cos.:
The Oliver Wyman report says that unless the Senate beefs up the proposed mandate on Americans to carry insurance, average annual medical claims five years after the overhaul takes effect would be 50 percent higher than today, not accounting for medical inflation.
That would increase the premiums for family coverage by $3,300 in today’s dollars, it says.
The latest report isn’t likely to get any friendlier reception among Democrats than the first one, which Democratic senators denounced for what they described as faulty assumptions. In fact, the pressure among some senators, including the all-important Sen. Olympia Snowe (R-Maine) is for an even more lenient individual mandate. Critics of the strong mandate sought by insurers say it isn’t fair to make people buy insurance they can’t afford.

ADDING INSULT TO INJURY: THE BAUCUS HEALTH PLAN IMPOSES NEW TAXES ON THE SICK
Public support for health care reform is based on a desire to help the sick or, at the very least, to protect the non-wealthy from the financial impact of illness, chronic disease, and accidents. Unfortunately, the reform proposals under active consideration in Congress do precisely the opposite, say Heritage Foundation researchers Robert A. Book, Guinevere L. Nell and Paul L. Winfree.
In particular, the Baucus health reform proposal, recently passed by the Senate Finance Committee, imposes new taxes on those who need health care the most and on lower-income people with the least ability to pay — in some cases to fund coverage subsidies that will primarily go to young, healthy people with moderate incomes.
The proposal would impose:
Higher taxes on taxpayers at all income levels who face high out-of-pocket medical expenses or have high-cost health plans, including patients living in poverty.
“Annual fees” (i.e., taxes) on the medical device and pharmaceutical industries, which would have to be passed on in the form of higher prices to patients who pay out of pocket, and to insurance plans, which will have to raise their premiums.
An “annual fee” on insurance companies that will be passed on to patients directly in the form of higher premiums.
Despite President Obama’s promise not to raise taxes “one dime” for those earning below $250,000, this proposal would increase taxes on households with incomes substantially below that level — and especially on households facing the worst health problems, say Book, Nell and Winfree.
The revenue from these taxes is intended to offset premium subsidies for households with incomes below four times the federal poverty level (FPL), but these taxes would be imposed on Americans who need medical devices or prescription drugs, have high out-of-pocket costs, or pay their own health insurance premiums — including many households with incomes below four times the federal poverty level (FPL).

Unions, Backbone or Backbreaker
In years past, Unions helped depressed workers improve their lives through better pay and safer working environment. The Unions I best remember are Coal Miners Union. John L. Lewis was a big personality in making demands for this dangerous occupation.
Greed grew in the Unions and the big bosses became gansters. They made more and more unreasonable demands. Many Companies were broken to the point of bankrupcy. Communist were discovered among some Unions, about 40 or 50 years ago. We fought the Korean Conflict (War) against Communist. The Berlin/Wall/Airlift associated with the Berlin Crisis was only the tip of the ice-berg of the “Cold War.” Viet Nam was all about Communist oppression of a small country. Freedom loving Americans gave their lives to protect us from evil Communist take over.
Today, Communist, Socialist, Unions have joined together to take our country from within. To our peril, we have become too tolerant of Socialism and Communism. These evil “Robinhoods” are stealing from the “haves” and giving small portions to the “have nots.” The economy is only a distraction to keep us busy, while the unconstitutional segments (Czar System)are planted inside our government.
As this treachery progresses our country becomes weak and our enemies take advantage of us. Solution? An American born President, who stands for our original Constitutional values.
Longer School Days

The Obama Administration is once again pushing this nation closer to socialism with extending school days and hours. I am 52 yrs old and remember my school days that were pretty much the same as now. The difference back then was discipline and parent involvement. What Obama is saying that we the government will spend the time with your children so you won’t be burdened. I want to be burdened! This is a huge opportunity for union bosses to gain members; we will need more administrators you know. We will also need more teachers and caretakers like lunch people. What the hell is going on in this country? It all begins with both parents having to work. My father supported our family of 4 children while all the while driving a truck, we had our own home and even a new car! The value of our dollar continues to drop; we will need more dollars to survive as the Fed continues to print money. The government will need more money to have a longer school day thus taxing you and me even more. The more they try to redistribute wealth, the more money they have and the more control of money, the more control of you. They have been indoctrinating our children and now plan to pick up the pace. I said before the election, “hold on to your wallet” well, I am hanging on but it’s slipping out of my hands.Get out and vote, true conservatives will be a minority once this administration gives 20 million illegal immigrant law breakers a free ride by making them legal creating a very large democrat voting block and indoctrinating our children.God help us, the change has begun! The people in government that pull on our wallets and hire their cronies are in control and the harder it is for us to hang on. Remember what Ronald Reagan said; Goverment is the problem! Wake up America before it’s too late!
